Top Tech Stocks
Technology stocks were slightly lower, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 sinking about 0.1%.
In company news, Nutanix ( NTNX ) advanced on Tuesday, climbing more than 13% to a session high of $26.29 a share after FMR Corp, the parent company of Fidelity funds, filed regulatory documents showing the index fund management acquired almost 4.45 million of the company’s shares since April 30 through the end of September.
According to its Schedule 13G/A filing, FMR owned the equivalent of 20.3 million Nutanix shares on Sept. 30, up from around 14.85 million shares on April 30. On a percentage basis, the fund manager’s share of the company grew to 11.53% at the end of the latest quarter from a 10.37% stake in late April.
