Top Tech Stocks
Technology stocks were leading the U.S. markets lower today, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 falling morer than 1.1%.
In company news, RMG Networks Holding Corp ( RMGN ) was moderately higher in mid-day trading, giving back much of an earlier rise to a session high of $2.13 a share after the digital signage software company reported receiving a $500,000 order from an unnamed bank to upgrade its previously installed intelligent contact centers for the client throughout Great Britain.
The customer plans to roll out software updates for over 160 new digital displays at 13 contact center facilities across England and Wales as well as Ireland and Scotland. The project has already begun and is expected to finish later this year.
In other sector news,
(+) JMU, (+9.6%) Shares rise for a second day after the company early yesterday reported it broke even in Q2,, unchanged from last year. Revenue rose to $20.6 mln from 15.2 million. No analyst estimates were available for comparison.
(-) NLST, (-29.5%) Tumbles to two-year low after pricing sale of 8.5 mln shares at $0.60 cents each. Net proceeds will be used for general company purposes.
