Top Tech Stocks
Technology stocks led the U.S. markets lower today, with shares of tech companies in the S&P 500 ( XLK ) falling more than 1.5% in late trade. In company news, Infosys ( INFY ) shares rose Thursday, topping out at $16.15 a share, after the technology consulting firm today announced a new partnership with the ATP world tennis tour on the launch of a new ‘PlayerZone’ application and website.
The revamped PlayerZone is an extranet portal for players, coaches and others associated with the ATP tournament circuit, allowing them to engage with each other and access information across a wide range of operational aspects related to life on the tour.
Financial terms of the relationship were not immediately disclosed.
In other sector news,
(+) RMGN, Receives $500,000 order from an unnamed bank company to upgrade over 160 digital displays at 13 previously installed intelligent contact centers for the client throughout Great Britain.
(-) NLST, Tumbles to new, two-year low after pricing $5.1 mln of 8.5 mln shares at 60 cents each, a 29.4% discount to yesterday’s closing price. Net proceeds will be used for general company purposes.
